THE GAME:
Glover is an innovative game that blends the action of a platform game, and the problem
solving and dexterity of a puzzle game.

Getting used to the controls:
Because Glover has so many moves, you may find it difficult at first to intuitively play
the game.  Be sure to try the practice level (accessible through the wishing well near the
castle, or on the start-up screen).

Redefining the controls:
Enter Glover Setup and click on the ‘controller’ tab.  This will allow you to redefine your
keyboard, joystick, control pad, or combination of keys and controller.  To do this, click
on the move that you would like to redefine, then press the appropriate key or button to
program the move.  You may not save the same key/button for more than one move.

Setting up your Game-pad/joystick:

Glover will automatically detect any compatible control device, and as a result you will not
need to assign the Left/Right/Up/Down commands.  This is automatically done for you.
However, you will need to assign the desired buttons to the desired actions.

If Glover is unable to detect your Game-pad/Joystick, you may need to install it via the
Joystick option in Control Panel, using the disks and instructions supplied by your
manufacturer.

Missing text on Setup Program Buttons

If no text appears on the buttons within the Config program, Click on the Start button,
select ‘Settings’ and then ‘Control Panel’.  In Control Panel, click on ‘Display’ and
then select the ‘tab’ marked ‘Settings’.  You will see an area marked ‘Font Size’. 
Simply the select ‘Small Fonts’ option and click on ‘OK’.  If you are to restart your
machine, do so, and then continue to run Glover as normal.

PERFORMANCE:
You will have very different graphic and performance results depending on whether you have
a 3-D graphics card.

4 Mb 3-D card recommended:
It is strongly recommended that you use a 4 Mb 3-D, hardware card to play Glover.
Playing Glover with a hardware card will allow you to view the game with:
a)better frame rate
b)more colors
c)higher resolution

No 3-D card (software only):
If you do not have a 3-D hardware card, you may notice poor performance on certain machines. 
Try the following to increase the performance of Glover:
a)set Glover to “Lo detail” in the setup program (accessible from the windows 95/98 start
button)
b)Once you are in the game, scale the screen up or down by using the F7 and F8 buttons.
(this feature is not available if you have a 3-D card)
c)You may turn “perspective correction” off by pressing F5.  This may give you graphically
undesirable results, but should increase performance.

reproductions of the software or manual to other parties in any way. You may use one copy
of the product on a single Nintendo 64 game console.
HASBRO INTERACTIVE’S LIMITED NINETY-DAY WARRANTY
Hasbro Interactive warrants for a period of ninety (90) days following the original retail
purchase of this copy of the Glover™ Nintendo 64 game that the program is free from
substantial errors or defects that will materially interfere with the operation of the
program as described in the enclosed user documentation. This policy applies to the initial
purchaser only.
If you believe you have found any such error or defect in the program during the warranty
period, call Hasbro Interactive’s Technical Support Department at (410) 568-2377, between
the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 a.m. Monday through Friday (Eastern Time) and 8:00 a.m.
to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, holidays excluded. Our technical personnel will attempt
to help you correct any problem that may occur. If you have a problem resulting from a
manufacturing defect in the CD-ROM, Hasbro Interactive will replace your compact disc with
a corrected version. For problems resulting from your system software or hardware, Hasbro
Interactive will suggest technical solutions to help you avoid the problem.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have rights which vary from
state to state.
DISC REPLACEMENT POLICY
If this product fails within ninety (90) days of purchase for any reason other than accident
or misuse, please return the defective disc together with a dated proof of purchase to
Hasbro Interactive Software Consumer Returns, 1027 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket, RI 02862, for
a free replacement. This policy applies to the original purchaser only.
LIMITATIONS ON WARRANTY
Unauthorized representations: Hasbro Interactive warrants only that the program will perform
as described in the user documentation. No other advertising, description or representation,
whether or not made by a Hasbro Interactive dealer, distributor, agent or employee, shall be
binding upon Hasbro Interactive or shall change the terms of this warranty.
Implied warranties limited: EXCEPT AS STATED ABOVE, HASBRO INTERACTIVE MAKES NO OTHER
WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THIS PRODUCT. HASBRO INTERACTIVE DISCLAIMS ANY
WARRANTY THAT THE SOFTWARE IS FIT FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE NINETY (90) DAY DURATION OF THIS LIMITED EXPRESS

Some states do not allow exclusions or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so

1.LICENCE
The software and all images, photography, animations, video, audio, music and text contained
on the enclosed CD-ROM and this manual, (together, ‘the Product’) are protected by copyright
and other intellectual property rights which are owned by or licensed to Hasbro Interactive
Limited of 2 Roundwood Avenue, Stockley Park, Uxbridge, UB11 1AZ (‘Hasbro’)
Hasbro grants to you as the original purchaser of this Product a non-transferable right to
use the Product for your own personal and private use and not in connection with any
business activity.  Unless otherwise permitted by law, no part of this Product may be
copied, reproduced, translated, modified, decompiled or reduced into any electronic or other
form without the prior written consent of Hasbro. You may not rent or lease, or sell or
transfer copies of the Product or any part of it.

2.WARRANTY
Hasbro warrants to you only that for a period of ninety days from purchase the Product will
perform substantially in accordance with the specifications set out in this manual and that
the original CD-ROM disk itself will be free from defects in materials and workmanship.
During this period the Product, if defective, will be replaced free of charge if returned to
Hasbro at Caswell Way, Newport, Gwent, NP9 0YH, together with a dated proof of purchase, a
brief description of the defect and the address to which it is to be returned.  Any
replacement will be warranted for a further 90 day period.  This warranty does not affect
your statutory rights in any way.
This warranty does not apply to defects caused by misuse, neglect, incorrect installation,
damage, alteration, repair or excessive wear.

3.LIABILITY
Except as stated at 2 above, all conditions, warranties, terms, representations and
undertakings express or implied, statutory or otherwise, in respect of the Product are
expressly excluded.
Hasbro’s liability to you shall under no circumstances exceed the original retail price of
the Product and Hasbro does not accept liability for any indirect or consequential damage or
loss (even if it is aware that the possibility of such damage or loss) including lost
profits or revenues, or for any damages, costs or loss incurred as a result of loss of time
or data or from any other cause.
Nothing set out above shall limit or exclude the Hasbro’s liability to you for death or
personal injury resulting from its own negligence or any other liability not capable of
exclusion or limitation by law.
If you do not agree to be bound by these terms, you should immediately return the Product to
Hasbro at Caswell Way, Newport, Gwent, NP9 OYH, together with a dated proof of purchase, for
a full refund.
